Self Portrait Created with various graphite pencils Approx. 2.5x2' This is an oldie. I drew it for a core drawing class at the Alberta College of Art and Design in 1996, which is now a university. I knocked it off in about 8 hours, and my face was almost frozen in that damn position. I gave it to my brother in law but he returned it because he said it freaked him out walking past it all the time with his brother in law sceaming at him like that. For real. I wanted to get it catalogued because it is on cotton rag and is definitely showing its age. Like I say, "Art is born, it lives, and then it dies."  |
